Terms of Use
These terms cover the Prompt Park app for iPhone and iPad, made by Josh Andrews (Playground). By downloading or using Prompt Park, you agree to them.

Prompt Park is a paid-unlock educational game for children roughly aged 7–12. It teaches how to write clear instructions for an AI, guided by Pip — a character that runs entirely on the device.
Pip is deliberately imperfect. It misunderstands things, guesses when you leave something out, and is sometimes confidently wrong, because noticing that is the lesson. Please don't rely on anything Pip says as fact.
Prompt Park is made for children, and we expect a parent or guardian to be the one who installs it and makes any purchase. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian read these terms and agree to them on your behalf.
Purchases, restores and links out of the app sit behind a parental gate. Please don't teach a child how to get through it.
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Prompt Park on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. This licence is for personal, family and classroom use.
You may not sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the app, and you may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile or extract its content — the lessons, artwork, Pip's writing and the engine behind it — except where that restriction is forbidden by law.
Teachers: using Prompt Park with your class on school devices is fine and encouraged. Redistributing the content as your own materials is not.
Chapters 1 and 2 and the Free Build sandbox are free forever.
Optional one-time purchases:
All three are non-consumable: bought once, kept forever, restorable at no charge, and included in Family Sharing. There are no subscriptions, no in-game currency, no loot boxes, and nothing that can be bought twice.
Apple processes every payment. The price shown in the app comes from Apple and is in your local currency. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but if something is broken, tell us and we will fix it.
If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, use Restore Purchases in Settings or on the grown-ups page.
We don't collect any. See the Privacy Policy for the details. Progress is stored on the device, and deleting the app deletes it. Please back up anything you'd be sad to lose — we cannot recover progress, because we never had a copy.
We may update Prompt Park: fixing bugs, adding chapters, adjusting lessons.
We will not take away content you have already paid for. If a chapter that is part of the Prompt Park Pass changes, it stays part of the Pass. If we ever had to remove content permanently, we would say so in the release notes rather than letting you find out.
We may change these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and they apply going forward, not retroactively.
Prompt Park is provided "as is". We have tested it carefully, but we can't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will work on every device configuration.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of the app is limited to the amount you actually paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law in your country, which may give you more than the paragraph above.
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for Prompt Park. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Your use of the App Store is also governed by Apple's Media Services Terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
If the app fails to conform to any warranty Apple is obliged to provide, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price. Any other claim relating to the app is our responsibility, not Apple's.
You can stop using Prompt Park at any time by deleting it. These terms end when you do. Sections 3, 7 and 8 survive.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules — except where the mandatory consumer law of your home country applies instead, in which case it does.
